In this episode of “Digital PR Explained,” I had the pleasure of interviewing Shara Seigel, Senior Director of Media Strategy at Mission North.

Shara Seigel is a Senior Director of Media Strategy at Mission North, a strategic communications agency serving companies solving the world’s hardest problems with science and technology. Shara is a part of the agency’s Media Practice, it’s group of specialists and center of excellence for all things earned media.

She has been working in PR for 17 years. Prior to joining Mission North, she led consumer PR in-house at high-growth direct-to-consumer startups like Freshly, SmileDirectClub, and HelloFresh. Now, Shara leads consumer media strategy for clients like Canva, LifeStance Health, Greenlight, and ezCater uncovering creative, ownable storylines that break through the noise and drive impact. As a member of Mission North’s media practice, Shara is media-obsessed, staying on top of the latest pop culture, health, wellness, and lifestyle news and trends. A native New Yorker, in her free time Shara loves seeing Broadway shows, live stand up comedy, and checking out new restaurants in the city.
